RE Cheryl Tompkins
was the ramrod behind the Chattanooga Divisional
Solo II.
With the help of her husband and Assistant RE, Steve;
Cheryl helped make this divisional the Divisional of the Year in the
Southeast Division. Steve and Cheryl are the editors of the
"DownShift" which placed first in the national newsletter
competition for small regions. The Chattanooga Region also won
the 97 Regional Achievement Award for small regions.
Dave won Worker of the Year for all the time he spent on the corner
stations at road races and organizing Solo II events. He won Solo I Driver of the year for
the time he spent at Solo I events around the Southeast
Division. In his spare time he autocrosses (like in this picture at the Solo II Divisional).
Kenneth won F Modified at the Atlanta and Chattanooga
Solo II Divisionals which gave him the Southeast Divisional Solo II Title in F
Modified. He is also the Chattanooga Region's Autocrosser of the Year.
Kinch finally got his Camaro to make a few laps at the Solo I events this
year. He still put on a spectacular show at Talladega with a small fire. We hope to see
him make many more good laps next year.

Kathy--For his second ARRC championship in ITD,
we present Will Perry this bag.
Will--Wow! This bag is even nicer than last year.
Tim--Congratulations on winning ITD again. This award shows how we feel.
Bill Perry sent this picture. I am not sure why the focus is
on the bag or why Bill sent this picture. There actually was a very nice trophy to go with
the bag.
Will won the ARRC, the SARRC
Championship, and the ECR championship in his ITD Midget.
