Chattanooga Region SCCA Meeting
June 4, 2009
 

RE Gerald Street was not present so Assistant RE David Hester presided at the meeting.

Minutes from the May 14, 2009 CRSCCA Meeting were accepted.

Treasurer’s Report:  Patrick White presented the Treasurer’s Report for May, 2009.

Committee Reports.

Time Trials:  The Time Trials went well and after all expenses were paid, the Region made a small profit.  David McDaniel said we need a Worker Chief for the next event.

Road Racing:  Next event is the Heart of Dixie on June 27 and 28 with a Track Day on the 26th.  We need workers for the event but everything else is on track.

Solo.  The next event is Sunday, June 7th at Chattanooga State and will be a D-Day Solo.  Also planned is participation in Cars & Coffee at Starbucks / Hamilton Place Mall on Saturday, June 5th from 8-12. Scott Dobler asked if the Solo staff be allowed to spend $100 for drinks and pizza for the D-Day Solo event.  David McDaniel moved with Bill Perry seconding.  Motion passed.    

The discussions for PA System and radio transmitter will be put off until July.

RallyCross:  Looking for an additional site and possibly adding a drifting site.

Old Business.  Street Survival School is on for July 11th in Scottsboro, AL. 

New Business.  David McDaniel has agreed to be the new SEDIV representative for the Track Trials.

Next meeting will be on July 9th at 6:30 pm at the Winner’s Circle Family Fun Center in Fort Oglethorpe.
