The Chattanooga Region sent several cars to the 2002 American Road Race of Champions.  Two of our ITC competitors did very well.  Will Perry qualified second and spent the first few laps fighting for first.  Vesa Silegren qualified fifth, several seconds out of first.  He spent the first half of the race back in the pack.  Will took first several times and looked like he could hold it for the last third of the race.  Two laps from the end he lost first to Gareth Rebstock.  Vesa had joined the ITC lead  pack.  Vesa moved into first and held it for the only lap that counts.  Vesa is the new ITC ARRC Champion.  Will was shuffled back to third.
