March 24-25, 2001 -- Carl Blevins and Roy Yother took their ITC Honda CRX's for this event. On Saturday Carl qualified third of 8 on rain tires on a drying track. At the start, he drove up to first place, only to be passed by two ITC cars under a yellow flag. The two offenders got their due as they went off, putting Carl back to first for the finish.

Roy spun in the concrete canyon on the first lap, but recovered to finish sixth.

On Sunday, Art Thompson drove Roy's car, joining Carl. According to a spectator report, Carl went four wide into the first turn, with Carl on the outside. Carl was left with what you can expect to drive on in this position - grass. He fell to last place overall. But he pulled back thru the field to regain first place in ITC.

Art took Roy's car to a third place finish, in a field of six. Art and Roy now graduate to their Regional Licenses.
