July 27-28, 2002 -- Vesa, Will, and Anthony went to Road Atlanta to compete in the SARRC races.  Dave Hester was there working turn one.  Theresa, Jamie, and Misty were there as crew.  Bill, Gail, Carl, Dave Brooks, and Cindy were there mainly as spectators.  

Anthony's race was Saturday evening.  During the race his brakes failed and he park his Formula V on course.  He finished enough laps to be considered a finisher and complete his novice permit.  He is now ready for a full Regional road race licenses.  

Will and Vesa qualified 1-2 in ITC on Saturday.  Will just finished putting Bill's Civic back together from the crash with Grassroots Motorsports' Zero-to-Hero, Dave Wiegand.  Dave was in his Zero phase when he hit Bill and totaled his Civic last year.  On Sunday Vesa started the race a bit slow and let some of the other ITC cars think they had a chance.  He picked up after a few laps and road Will's bumper for the rest of the race.  They finished 1-2 well ahead of the other ITC cars.
