Chattanooga Region SCCA
RoadRally

RoadRally Check PointDuring a RoadRally, a driver and a navigator follow a set of instructions telling them how to get from point A to point B on public roads. Part of the instruction include the speed at which to travel which is never more than the speed limit. The goal is to stay on course and on time. Sometimes the participants have to find clues along the way. Any street legal car can compete. A working odometer, speedometer, a watch, and a note pad are all it takes to successfully participate in a RoadRally. Membership in SCCA is not necessary but the driver must have a valid state driver’s license and the vehicle must have liability insurance.  Anyone under 18 must have a special notarized permission slip from their guardian.  A SCCA RoadRally is not a speed event (see Performance Rally for speed rallies).
