The helmet must have a face shield or the driver must wear goggles.

Driver Apparel:
Drivers are minimally required to wear jackets of leather, vinyl or abrasion resistant nylon or equivalent and full-length pants to prevent or minimize abrasions.  Shoes, socks and gloves are mandatory.  Full abrasion kart suits are recommended.

The Chattanooga Region uses the safety requirements listed in the SCCA Solo II Rule Book and its amendments in Fastrack.  The above copy is for reference and could be superseded should official rules be updated.

The Chattanooga Region hopes to have a neck brace available at the events.  Since helmets need to fit properly (especially for young people), we will NOT have loner helmets for children.  Please bring you own safety equipment.
