Southeast Summer Shootout
July 28 & 29, 2001

The Chattanooga Region will is proud to host the third annual Southeast Summer Shootout July 28^th and 29^th. This event will be in the parking lot of the old Sam's Club on Lee Highway in Chattanooga (directions). Everyone is invited to test your driving skills against drivers from all over the Southeast Division and beyond. There will be t-shirts and goody bags, a social Saturday evening with door prizes, and lots of seat time.

Motel Information

Microtel is giving us a group rate of $35.95 per night for a single room, $39.95 per night on a double. The phone # is 1-800-874-8507, let them know you're with the SCCA. This is approximately 2 miles from the event site. Also, there will be someone staying at the site Friday & Saturday nights, for anyone who would like to park their trailer at the site.

A Probe/MX6 Club is holding a convention in Chattanooga the weekend of this event. They are invited to run either or both days. There wasn't enough entries to justify a separate event for them.

The Chattanooga Region supports the Junior Driver Program. This program allows drivers at least eight years old to drive go-karts.
