Track
- 1.8 Mile Road Course
- Oval is concrete, Infield is paved
- Oval straights are banked nine and six degrees. Entrance and
exit are smooth unless the driver has a magnetic attraction to the "big track"
(common problem)
- Grass separates the oval turns and the road course
- Entrance to first 180 has pavement added to widen the turn
- Side road at second 180 is closer to turn in reality and can be used for
track out
- The turns heading to Station 2 are uphill. The left at Station 2 is
over the crest
- Concrete curbing entering the buss stop section makes the entrance into 3
much faster than it appears
- The buss stop descends into the infield and climbs back out
- The normal start/finish will start and finish time runs
- Timed sessions will consist of a full warm up and a full cool down lap
Paddock
- Registration and all meetings will be in the Press/Media Center (under
scoring pylon)
- Please don't paddock around the Press/Media Center
- Fifty-nine open air garages are available to the first fifty-nine entrants
at no additional cost.
- The left side around the existing garages is paved. The right side
has a strip paved around the base of the non-existing garage base but the rest
is gravel.
- Fuel will be available at the track fuel station at 8:30 AM and during the
lunch break each day. Credit cards are accepted. Fuel available includes 87 &
93 Octane Unleaded and 112 Octane Leaded. (fuel for 2008 should be
the same as the past but hasn't been verified)
- There is an oil dump station in the center of the garages
- Victory Lane is on the front straight side of the Press/Media Center
- Tech will be in the official Tech Lane at the end of the garages
- Viewing is good at: the road near Station 1, in the gravel lot near
Station 2, in the motor home lot
- This is a non-spectator event. Everyone entering the site must sign
appropriate waivers.
- This is a very nice facility. Please help keep it clean.
